GraphicDesignNY (“GraphicDesignNY,” “we,” “us”) provides a social media management service. On behalf of our clients — including bars, restaurants, and other venues — as well as our own brands, we schedule and publish content to the social media accounts they authorize us to manage. This policy explains what we access through social platforms’ official APIs and how we handle it.
Accounts and authorization
We access a social media account only after its owner — our client, or ourselves for our own brands — explicitly connects and authorizes it through the platform’s own authorization process (OAuth). We act on the account owner’s behalf, and only within the access they grant. The owner can withdraw that authorization at any time.
Information we access
Through the official APIs of connected platforms (for example, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram (Meta), and Pinterest), for each authorized account we access only what is needed to create, schedule, publish, and report on posts — such as:
- basic account identifiers and profile information for the connected account;
- the destination feeds, pages, boards, or channels where posts are published;
- the media and text the account owner provides for publishing;
- the status and basic performance of posts we publish on the account’s behalf.
We do not access accounts that have not been connected to us, and we do not access other users’ private data.
How we use it
We use this access solely to provide the management service — scheduling, publishing, and reporting on our clients’ and our own content. We do not sell, rent, or share this data; we do not use it for advertising or profiling; and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to operating the service. Data is shared only with the originating platform, as necessary to publish authorized content.
Storage and security
Access tokens and content are stored on our own access-restricted, self-hosted infrastructure, protected by access controls, and used only to operate the service.
Data retention and removal
We retain authorization and associated data only while an account remains connected and the engagement is active. The account owner can disconnect at any time, or revoke access in the platform’s own settings — which immediately ends our access. On client offboarding or request, we delete the connected-account data we hold for that client.
Your choices and requests
A client may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the connected-account data we hold for them by contacting us at the address below.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children.
Platform-specific terms
- TikTok. Our access to and use of information obtained through TikTok’s APIs complies with the TikTok Developer Terms and Community Guidelines. We use TikTok data only to provide the posting service for accounts that authorize us, and we honor revocation of access.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Our access to and use of information obtained through Meta’s APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, limited to the pages and accounts connected to us.
- Pinterest and other platforms. Our use complies with each platform’s developer terms, limited to the accounts connected to us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version at this same address.
